The arm works as intended, but.. If you are looking for super sturdy, this arm wobbles quite a bit. You will need to set up some audio filters and maybe use a shock mount to keep "boom" sounds from traveling up the arm. If you are mounting to something that is separate from your desk, it "may" suit your needs better. That being said, I have it mounted to my game chair. Yes, game chair. My setup requires everything to be mounted to the chair as I don't have a desk setup. Compression and Noise Suppression filters as well as other filters will eliminate the "boom" sounds, but I also have the mic in a shock mount.
