I have used J-B Weld Muffler Cement (#B084T8BW18) three times and smear it on like butter on my Uncle Harry's bald head and get roughly five or six thoroughly coated joints both between the pipes and under the band clamps. The stuff dries (gets crusty and lumpy) almost immediately in warm weather but it has never failed me.
