Review: Great for Pattern Tracing - I bought this roll to trace patterns for sewing clothing items. It's transparent enough to show the all the key features on the original sewing pattern. But it wasn't too wide. So I ended up having to trace half of the pattern and then the other half, and tape them together. It takes pencil and pen very well. The weight is light but it can be torn very easily so the durability is not too great, but that's expected with see through tracing pattern. The texture is great, not rough and not too slick. Overall, performance is great and ease of use is great. Would buy again when I need more. This would be great for quilting patterns as well.
Review: A good value tracing paper - I like this paper for markers and soft pencils but it isn’t as strong as a good vellum so I don’t use it with hard leads. Great for sketching with colored pencils and felt pens.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: If used for tracing patterns, is it still thin/supple enough to pin to fabrics for cutting things out?**
A: Yes it is. I make my own patterns and use this paper for pinning to and cutting fabric. It is sturdy enough for multiple uses. Make sure you use drafting tape to tape it down.

**Q: Is this paper Acid-Free?**
A: Yes

**Q: Can it absorb water? For example, if I trace with water color, can the colors fix onto it?**
A: I don't know about water color, but I found that when I let my arm with a little perspiration touch the material, it left a wrinkle which did not disappear.
I think more moisture would only make the situation worse. The material is too thin for most purposes in my opinion.

**Q: Does anyone think that this paper can be used in a printer?**
A: No, I don't think so. It's way too thin. It's like the old-fashioned tracing paper that you used to buy in a tablet. It's even a little thinner than that. Crumbles easily.
