The retractable shade gives a bit of extra security in that no one can see what is in the trunk area and keeps things from blowing around. But also retracts back into the arm when you don’t need it (like when we are transporting our dogs). 23 Badlands, the fit was perfect. The price point on this is really great. Overall, the install was super easy and quick. I was able clean and install during my lunch break. There are 4 brackets, 2 to hold the bar, 2 to hold the shade cover in place when you are using the shade. Clean the area, use the adhesive primer and provides screws. Once brackets are in place, you can add the spring arm. I would recommend waiting for the other 2 brackets to adhere (maybe overnight) before using just to ensure they stick well. We use this all the time and it continues to work flawlessly. Review: Must buy - A must buy for Bronco owners. 2025 base model fit perfectly. Looks OEM upon instal. Easy quick install. Feels durable and high quality. Leaves a good height when closed so you can still store tall items in the trunk ## Features - Fitment: The cargo cover fit for 2021-2026 Ford Bronco 4-Door with either hardtop or soft top (Not for Bronco 2-Door or Bronco Sport). Canvas covers can divide the trunk space for a neat and tidy look - Durable Material: Made of waterproof canvas material, providing effective protection for the cargo below against water and sun damage. It also functions as a privacy screen, shielding the contents of the cargo hold from prying eyes. Its durable construction provides reliable protection and long-lasting use - Strong aluminum poles: The main bar is made of thicker aluminum alloy, stronger and more durable. When you remove the soft top and drive at high speed, the aluminum alloy bracket can support the canvas to the maximum extent and reduce the noise when driving - Easy Installation: Easy installation without drilling required. Just attach the buckle bracket to the designated location. For optimal adhesion, it is recommended to clean the area where the buckle bracket will be attached with alcohol before applying it - Tips: Light items can be placed on the cargo cover.
