The leather is as described - soft and lovely. The zipper is butter smooth and sturdy.The SIZE and SHAPE are perfect. It can hold a LOT despite not being huge. Its size and shape will even let me carry my SLR camera as well as my normal things. But if it’s important to you to carry a tablet, it probably won’t fit. I just barely, and with a good bit of fiddling, got my iPad Pro 11 inch to go in; not ideal, but it did barely squeeze in. So, yes, this purse does hold more than you’d think.My only wish is that there was a zippered pocket inside. And if it also had a zippered pocket on the outside, it would be perfection and my dream purse come true.I’ve looked at and bought a number of purses which didn’t quite meet my needs and preferences, but this one is a winner.
