One of the other three kitties had bitten his ear in a scuffle and made a deep puncture wound. Puncture wounds can be dangerous, I couldn't get him to the vet, so this was my next choice. This formula isn't just for horses and can be used on dogs and cats and other animals. It contains silver so I didn't over use it. I sprayed it towards the cat's ear but not directly into it for fear of pushing any infection further into the ear canal. The wound healed over a couple of days, and I'm still giving it a spray about once a day since there was still a little redness, but he is so much better.
