The plan was outside, but of course, it rain. My ceilings are 9ft, but this ring made my ceiling look short. It is hard to put the last piece on and it is hard to take it off. You have to use the whole ring and push pressure against the walls for the last piece to click together and to take it apart. It's sturdy and the legs do support the rings but it is not as level. It does its job.
