The pattern is nicely stamped onto the cloth. The cloth is firm and easy to work with within your hoop. I found this kit to be pretty easy to comple within a week. I really love the color combos of the final product. I still cant believe what an incredible deal this was.FYI: Be aware there are 2 pattern/color keys. To work this kit, you first find the color key on the paper pattern, then match it to the key on the cloth, by the corresponding number. (Dont try to match the color on the stamped pattern to the floss. There are a number of color kit options to purchase, so the paper pattern key reflects the color combo you chose and will be your primary guide)There are no english instructions, but as long as you remember the paper pattern is your primary key, you will be fine. Hope you enjoy your kit as much as I did. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Takes a while, but is beautiful! *by A***R on Reviewed in the United States on July 22, 2018* These cross-stitching patterns are surprisingly well planned and everything needed was provided. The canvas is printed to see where all the different colors go (using the key on the side of the canvas, since the colors don't match the actual thread colors), but there is also a paper guide and key (that ONLY needs to be referred to if you prefer that, or if some of the ink washed off the canvas) that works the same exact way, just with different colors and symbols. The DMC codes are listed as well so you can purchase more thread if needed, but I received PLENTY of thread, the picture included showing the thread is from after I finished the project. As for the finished product, it looks beautiful and I definitely feel like the hours spent doing this were well worth it. As you can see, there are no remnants of the ink left on the canvas (or in the thread) after soaking it. I actually soaked it for about 1 1/2 hours before noticing the ink was all gone, and then I soaked it one more time for about half an hour in clean water just to make sure nothing was left. I would definitely recommend this to anyone who needs something to help pass the time and is more experienced incross stitching. I am also planning on doing the other 3 seasons as well, will update with those finished pictures when done. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Easy to follow, use 2 threads for each stitch *by L***V on Reviewed in the United States on July 15, 2018* Finished this (summer tree) in about 2 months. It's really pretty. The lady bugs didn't turn out well and can't tell what they are. The fabric IS stiff, if you've never done cross stitch, Aida fabric is stiff. It will loosen up as you work it into the hoop. It was printed perfectly. I don't understand why people complain about there being no instructions..it's a simple shape that you match to the correct number which correlates to the numbers on the thread. You do NOT need the folded paper directions unless you want to use that for the symbols and numbers however this is already printed on the fabric so it's not needed. I don't understand the confusion about how many strands to use. After reading the product description and comparing the instructions that came it's was easy to find that you use 2 strands for each stitch. The description of this product is written in the worst possible English so I am knocking a star since the company could put in the directions how many threads to used based on Aida cloth count (the package lists 11 and 14 and I had to use the poor English description in the description to try and figure out how many to use). I was left with a bunch of extra threads which is fine, I'd much rather have extra than not enough.
