So far this seems like a cheap piece of plastic with a motor inside of it. Waiting for a replacement to see if anything changes. Definitely would NOT recommend. Spend a little more and get a working product*UPDATE*The company issued a full refund for the gun and also sent me a replacement which ended up working just fine and as expected.I'll add that the battery life is quite amazing although I only use it on my cats when they get out of hand. The distance is the stream is pretty good too. I'll shoot across my whole apartment with little adjustment in pitch. If you don't experience the item broken out of the box it's really a great product.
