Review: A shampoo I've used over ten years - I've been using this shampoo for over 10 years. I always buy it from the actual the body shop stores, however, when there's a sale I'd get a few bottles from the official website. Ever since the body shop closes city physical stores, I've has a really hard time getting it. Today I'm glad I'm able to get it from desertcart. First off, it gets the job done. I have semi oily hair After using it my hair can last three days before next wash. The shampoo is somewhat dry after applying to my hair, I'm not sure why but it has always been dry before and during wash. To fix that i put conditioner on my hair, and it helps a ton. My hair gets light-weighted and shine, My sculp feels cool right after each wash. The shampoo smells like ginger and not too sticky. For The amount in each bottle, I'd say money well spent. If i can, I'd never switch to other brands.

**Q: is this legit body shop product?**
A: No. As of 2020, the ingredients are NOT the same as The Body Shop. Additionally, the label is lower quality. It does not work as well as the original. I tried to write a review warning about it but Amazon won't approve it. Please be weary!!!

**Q: does it stimulater hair growth?**
A: It’s supposed to, my hair looks and feels healthier.

**Q: Is it good for kids**
A: My 9 year old and 13 year old both used it with no issues. They didn't love the smell, but you can't smell any strong smells when your hair is dry. I like the smell, but i think the ginger throws them for a loop. Not used to the smell of ginger.

**Q: How does this smell?**
A: I like its smell, smells like ginger. and I like how it feels, it's not like others' smooth feeling, feels kinda rough, but right for my hair.

For me, the scent is okay, but what I really like is how refreshing it feels after washing — it leaves my oily hair feeling clean and light. For my wife, this is the only shampoo that doesn’t cause rashes on her scalp. Ever since The Body Shop stores in the U.S. closed, the price has gone up a lot, so now only my wife uses it. Still, it’s an excellent shampoo that’s worth it for those who need something gentle and effective.
