Soft, absorbent, comfortable under patient and don't bunch. These are also Oeto-Tex certified (look it up) which ensures that you have a product that is not toxic to humans. There are other pads on Amazon now that we tried that are thick, smelly, made in China and not Oeto-Tex certified. I hope this brand comes back to Amazon instead of the non certified look alike they currently have. Remember, these are close to your loved one - and they could easily be full of harmful substances if they are not certified or made in USA. There is a green underpad made in Canada that is very good but used in hospitals (not available for home use).
