Well. first of all, I want to say that the metalic looking strip is ... is a strip is not made out solid metal like the originals.. having that said. It really is eq close to the sm58... sounds beter than my sm 48.. for sure, and is better than a bunch of cheap microphones, I tested it on. im very happy.... Would I use it to record... Im not sure yet... at least not for vocals. This mic cartridge is good at representing lows(100hz) and highs, but I did find that it doesnt interpret the mids as perfect as the sm58 . it doesnt sound bad by any means but u can hear that difference. Review: it doesn't fit! - Even after removing the stock rubber shim and foam spacer, this doesn't fit.
