Plus you can keep the liquid (eg vanilla essence, elderberry syrup in the beaker set aside, ready to go). It's great to have a variety of sizes and they stack neatly together (I keep them stacked in a strong container with a lid, in the baking cupboard). Good value for money too considering you get 5 beakers. It would be a nice touch if they came IN a protective container. I haven't used boiling hot water in them....yet!
