It does say it goes up to 55 inches, but we hung our TCL 65" TV on it because it fell well below the maximum weight capacity. I would also highly recommended using a level and not trying to eyeball it like we did. That was a WOW! Mounts can be tricky. You just can not decide to order a mount for the TV size you have. You need to know the Vesa mounting interface for attaching the 2 brackets to the back of the TV. For my TV, the VESA was 400 x 400 and this Husky Mount would mount 400 x 400 or less. Some TVs are 600 x 600 so be careful. I really appreciated the merchant reaching out this way. This Husky mount feels solid and seems well built. I mounted a 55" TV easily.
