The fact that there are many versions of the idea makes it so your kids can have a positive experience, since once they get the idea, they can show you that they know it, over and over. The pictures are attractive, if a little 70s/80s. This is also a great book to have around for early book-enjoyers, especially as something your kid can do while you're busy. I got this when my son was 1 and already enjoying books. Since there are no words in the book, he could look through it and experience it without me looking over his shoulder. A good alternative to, e.g., television, if you need a little break.
