Our apartment is tiny and our litter box is in the bathroom and it never smells like cat urine in here. It hides the odor exceptionally well and for a long period of time. You don't scoop the urine; it turns to sawdust. The solids dry out so you don't need to scoop them very often either. Even after 6 weeks, there is no odor! Switching to this product from regular cat litter has cut down my cleaning time by 75%. You only need to empty the litter bin every 6-8 weeks or so, and the used litter slides ride out, weighing less than regular saturated cat litter. I have two litter boxes in the dining room, and you can't smell anything. My friends have even commented that it smells so clean. Because it lasts longer than regular clay litter, it's a good value; a little goes a long way.
