Choose VViViD for your next vinyl wrapping project and experience the perfect combination of quality, affordability, and innovation! Post-heating is a crucial step in vinyl wrap installation that ensures a strong bond, smooth finish, and long-term durability. It activates the adhesive, enhances conformability, minimizes wrinkles, and prevents lifting over time. Heat-setting also reinforces the vinyl’s shape memory, reducing distortion and improving resistance to temperature changes. Forgetting this step risks premature wear and poor adhesion, making post-heating essential for a professional, long-lasting wrap. Post-heating is critical to preventing edge lifting. When vinyl is stretched beyond the edge of a surface, such as a hood, it will attempt to contract back due to its memory. This causes the adhesive to weaken, and the vinyl may pull away from the edge. Skipping post-heating accelerates this process, leading to premature edge lifting. Proper heating ensures the vinyl stays securely bonded, preventing the edges from lifting over time. These are CKWraps' must have tools to smoothly install vinyl wrap. VViViD has all the tools you will need to start your next vinyl project. Prepare your vehicle for a flawless vinyl wrap installation with CK Wraps. The preparation you do beforehand is just as important as the installation itself. Proper prep ensures a smooth application, long-lasting results, and a finish you’ll be proud to show off every time. Always install your vinyl lengthwise to achieve a clean, uniform finish. Most vinyl films are directional — especially matte, satin, and textured finishes — meaning the way they’re positioned affects how they reflect light. Proper alignment ensures a seamless, professional look every time. How to know what size of vinyl do I need for my project? Measure the longest points of your project, keeping in mind VViViD vinyl is always 5ft wide. Use a sizing chart for reference, buy a little more extra vinyl for errors, and use seams for large surfaces if needed. Can my vinyl wrap survive the winter? Yes! Your vinyl wrap can survive winter with proper care. Use a ceramic coating like FUSE for protection, wash regularly with a vinyl-safe soap, avoid scrapers, and don’t use hot water or high-pressure washers. Park in a garage when possible. What tools do I need to wrap my car? You'll need a heat gun to stretch and set the vinyl, a knife for precise cuts, a squeegee to smooth out air bubbles, buffers for the squeegee edges to prevent scratches, and a tucking tool for clean edges and tight spaces. Why VViViD vinyl wraps are better than paint? At VViViD Vinyl, our wraps are more affordable than paint, fully reversible, and protect your car’s original finish. Unlike paint, wraps resist chips, UV damage, and scratches. Plus, they install faster and offer endless design possibilities! Does this vinyl wrap require a heat gun for installation? Our Ultra Gloss range is the result of years of research and development, culminating in an almost mirror-like Gloss that is virtually indistinguishable from a factory paint job. - Premium Features: To achieve the Ultra Gloss look, VViViD re-designed every aspect of car-wrap vinyl from the ground up. The result is a range of films packed with new technologies to create a stunningly beautiful finish. Conventional vinyl wraps can look good, but Ultra Gloss takes it to the next level. - Nano Air-Release Technology: Air-release channels built into vinyl adhesive can sometimes create irregularities in the surface, making for a less glossy finish. VViViD’s Ultra Gloss films are the only vinyls that utilize a micro air-release pattern so finely engineered that the result is an almost glass-like finish. - Stretchable Protective Cap: Unlike other vinyls, VViViD’s Ultra Gloss comes with a protective film that stretches with the vinyl, so you don’t have to remove that protective layer until the installation is complete, reducing the risk of scratches and scuffs. - VViViD Ultra Gloss vinyls are ready to use right out of the box, no liquids or messy, toxic chemicals needed. For the car enthusiast who demands next-level refinement, with beautiful colors and textures, look no further. Please note that due to specific procedures in hand-rolling and hand-cutting our vinyl wrap product, a ±1 inch discrepancy may occur. ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | Asin | B08NQZ83Q8 | | Automotive Fit Type | Universal Fit | | Best Sellers Rank | #19,883 in Automotive (See Top 100 in Automotive) #56 in Automotive Vinyl Wraps | | Brand Name | VViViD | | Color | Grey | | Compatible With Vehicle Type | Car | | Customer Reviews | 4.3 4.3 out of 5 stars (739) 4.3 out of 5 stars | | Exterior Finish | Gloss | | Manufacturer | VViViD | | Manufacturer Part Number | VivUltGloscandchargrparent | | Material Type | Vinyl | | Size | 50ft x 5ft | | Upc | 628856034828 | ## Product Details - **Brand:** VViViD - **Color:** Grey - **Exterior Finish:** Gloss - **Material:** Vinyl - **Size:** 50ft x 5ft ## Images ![VViViD+ Ultra Gloss Candy Metallic Charcoal Grey Vinyl Car Wrap Premium Paint Replacement Film Roll with Nano Air Release Technology, Stretchable Protective Cap Liner, Self Adhesive (50ft x 5ft) - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71hE0A2cCyL.jpg) ![VViViD+ Ultra Gloss Candy Metallic Charcoal Grey Vinyl Car Wrap Premium Paint Replacement Film Roll with Nano Air Release Technology, Stretchable Protective Cap Liner, Self Adhesive (50ft x 5ft) - Image 2](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/81Vgno09p0L.jpg) ![VViViD+ Ultra Gloss Candy Metallic Charcoal Grey Vinyl Car Wrap Premium Paint Replacement Film Roll with Nano Air Release Technology, Stretchable Protective Cap Liner, Self Adhesive (50ft x 5ft) - Image 3](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/91y153EtilL.jpg) ![VViViD+ Ultra Gloss Candy Metallic Charcoal Grey Vinyl Car Wrap Premium Paint Replacement Film Roll with Nano Air Release Technology, Stretchable Protective Cap Liner, Self Adhesive (50ft x 5ft) - Image 4](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/81KSuPooOPL.jpg) ![VViViD+ Ultra Gloss Candy Metallic Charcoal Grey Vinyl Car Wrap Premium Paint Replacement Film Roll with Nano Air Release Technology, Stretchable Protective Cap Liner, Self Adhesive (50ft x 5ft) - Image 5](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/619nXacjidL.jpg) ## Available Options This product comes in different **Size** options. ## Questions & Answers **Q: How to know what size of vinyl do I need for my project?** A: Measure the longest points of your project, keeping in mind VViViD vinyl is always 5ft wide.
