The clip is unable to grip a desk edge if it has any sort of routing. It really requires two parallel flat surfaces to grip securely. The 'touch' control is more of a hindrance than a help, as it is exclusive to the area with the universal 'power' symbol, about a half inch circle, which is undifferentiated tactilely from the rest of the upper lamp surface, which means you have to look for it every single time you adjust the lighting. Finally the 'gooseneck' isn't quite rigid enough to support the weight of the lamp head, which really limits the configurations that are workable. This lamp has all the earmarks of a great lamp but doesn't quite manage it. Arrives in a nifty box with a handle. ### ⭐⭐⭐ Needs to be plugged in to function. *by H***Y on Reviewed in the United States on April 24, 2018* Fairly good light--not as bright as I had hoped.
