Review: Clean high quality protein that delivers - After years of trying every protein powder under the sun, whey, plant based, blends, etc. you start to lower your expectations. Most are either packed with fillers and artificial sweeteners, hard to digest, or taste like drywall. Prime Protein is different Yes, it’s a bit more expensive than your average container of mystery whey, but the difference in quality is obvious. It’s made from grass fed beef, free from dairy, soy, gluten, and artificial junk. The result for me has been smoother digestion, no bloating, and a protein source that feels like it’s fueling recovery, not fighting your gut or avoiding others because of whey flatulence Each scoop delivers 21 grams of complete protein, along with collagen and gelatin, making it a great post workout option or a way to sneak clean protein into meals and desserts. I’ve tried the chocolate and salted caramel flavors and they’re surprisingly good without the artificial aftertaste most powders suffer from. The use of stevia keeps it clean, though I’d love to see an option with a small amount of cane sugar for those who prefer a more natural sweetness profile If you care about what you put in your body and want a protein that aligns with that standard, Prime Protein is worth it. Clean ingredients, great flavor, and zero digestive drama. It’s hard to beat
Review: Great protein for sensitive guts and digestive disorders - I absolutely love this protein powder and have it at least once a day. I used to buy Active Stacks but switched to this because it's just as good and a little more cost effective. I also like that Equip has an unflavored and unsweetened version so I can control how much of which sweetener I use. I use the unflavored beef protein in my Acai bowls. I blend dairy free milk with frozen mixed berries, acai powder, and this protein powder until it's a thick smoothie. I top with tahini, cocoa nibs, and diced kiwi. It's amazing, clean, gut friendly, and packed with protein, fiber, and nutrients. I have a very sensitive gut and can't handle whey or a lot of ingredients in most protein powders. This is highly digestible, high quality protein. I like to store it in an oxo pop container (1.75 qt holds a whole bag). It makes it easier to scoop and use. I also use the unflavored protein powder with my own raw cacao powder and stevia or dates to make my own chocolate flavor. This protein powder has a distinct flavor but it is NOT beef flavored. It's a very neutral protein that pairs well with fruit or chocolate or whatever you mix it with. You will need to use a blender, though. A shaker bottle can't mix it without clumps.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: What is beef protein powder and how is it made?**
A: Prime Protein is made by isolating the protein, collagen, and gelatin from grass-fed meat and bones (removing the fat and flavor), then blending it into a rich, clean powder that delivers everything you want, and nothing you don’t.

**Q: Does it taste like beef?**
A: Not at all. This isn’t broth or steak in a shaker. Thanks to thoughtful sourcing and real-food flavor ingredients (like cacao or vanilla), Prime Protein tastes like a milkshake, not a meat stick.

**Q: What's the difference between beef protein and collagen?**
A: Collagen is just one part of the cow. Prime Protein includes collagen plus all the essential amino acids your body needs for muscle repair and recovery. It’s a more complete, more functional protein source.

**Q: What's the best way to mix it?**
A: Blend it, shake it, or bake it. For best results, use a blender with your favorite milk or liquid. It also works great in pancakes, overnight oats, or protein balls.

**Q: Is it third-party tested?**
A: Yes. Every batch is tested by an independent lab and made in a NSF Certified and GMP Compliant facility. We believe in real food, radical transparency, and results you can trust.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great protein for sensitive guts and digestive disorders

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Easy to Digest
*by A***T on April 29, 2026*

This is a good product overall, but it is really expensive. The powder is not so easy to mix with liquid. It’s very sticky and it tends to form lumps. However, it contains a lot of protein and it doesn’t give me indigestion. When you put it in the blender it foams up. It tastes ok.
