And the clip is designed to be snug enough to hold onto the cords. However, the double sided tape that's supposed to allow you to mount the product on a flat surface is worthless. I will have to buy double-sided tape to mount the clips securely. ### ⭐ Do not work *by S***6 on Reviewed in the United States on July 18, 2018* These are pretty much worthless.. I have purchased them to organize just a few cords I got on my desk, made out of very different materials. However, the rubber that the holders are made of tugs and grips any material too much (from smooth Apple cord rubber to a satin cord of desk lamp). Because of that, adjusting the length of the cord is a constant hassle. But worst of all, at the same time, the holder slots aren't strong at all, so when I start pulling on the cord it pops out instead of gliding smoothly inside. Also, the sticker adhesive is very aggressive and leaves a lot of residue of you try to remove the holder (keep that in mind of you have a pricey desk). They seem to only stay in place if you stick them so the sticky side is closest to the floor. If you try and put them on a vertical surface they will fall, even with the lightest of wire/s in them. I am very disappointed.
