Haven't worn it yet, so can't speak to the durability of the belt loop, but it looks VERY strong. The stitching seems quite solid also. The leather was quite dry, and I died it a much darker color before using flaxseed oil to condition. Than scratched it up a little bit with light sandpaper to "age" it a little.
