Now I just use a small amount and mix with tea in a bottle. great lather. For laundry I use 3 to 4 tablespoons and mix with enough water to make it like a thick soup. This aritha powder seems to be already activated as it lathers nicely when mixing even in cold water. My clothes come out fresh smelling without adding any scented products. And super soft as a bonus. better than any fabric softener I've tried. For any smelly clothes like my teenage sons gym socks and such, I do add some drops of essential oils to the mix.
