I read in the review that you can lock 1-2 wheels, which will make the chair not glide as easily, yet it is still movable when you need it to. So, I went ahead and purchased these to test them. Very easy to install, just remove the bell guides and snap these in. Locking the wheels is very easy. But I do worry about the level snapping if I use it frequently. Fantastic. Worked like a charm. I am so delighted with this. I'm doubting between the ones with the break and the ones without.** A: I do use at least one brake if I'm at my desk working on something. I slide away from my desk gradually if I don't. Also you can just nudged the one brake up when your ready to move again. **Q: Will these fit Herman Miller Aeron?** A: According to their site, these are the correct stem for the Herman Miller Aeron. 7/16" by 7/8" grip ring stem fastener which is what these are. These move so much better than twin wheels and are so much quieter and softer. Great upgrade. **Q: Will these fit the secretLab Titan chair?** A: Yea **Q: okay for exterior use ? (on a swimming pool reel)** A: I installed on rolling chair for garage and they work great on concrete with my 210 pounds. I also have a mechanical pool cover and I don’t see why they would not work if your cover is set up for that kind of coaster. These just pop in an exciting mount made for them (most stools or rolling chairs have these), you will need to see how they will install on your pool cover. Ordered these for a 15 year old aeron chair the rolls too agressively at my desk/hardwood floor. Only need 1 or 2 brakes engaged to stop the roll, and with brakes off, wheels are also ultraquiet compared to the stock aeron ones. As with previous reviews, watch the locking mechanism with your hands/feet but they do loosen a bit over time.
