Get one. Cool watch. **Q: How can i adjust the watch bracelet to make it longer** A: Under the the main clasp there in the middle there is a rectangular gap, it is very stiff, but you have to take a small Jeweler screwdriver, (wrap the tip of screwdriver, so you do not scratch watch bracelet) and place in the rectangular slot and leverage up. It will ‘pop’ up and then you can slide the clasp, push down when you find correct length. I also used a shot of WD 40 in the slot area before lifting clasp up. This helped loosen it. **Q: how does this watch compare to the much cheaper Casio retro watches ?** A: Great watch, worth the price, get either of the stainless steel, with blue LED or the Green LED if you can. Accurate, retro, clear great conversation starter. Compared to Casio bracket the same or better. The case is all steel much better than Casio case which in some instances is a resin plastic. Numerals a good size. The cheaper Casio with similar style are LCD with light or screen that is illuminated. The Amitron the LED’s light up on a dark background. **Q: What battery type ?** A: Sorry. I don’t really know what battery type it takes. The instruction manual does not provide the type of battery it takes either ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ An excellent Armitron stainless steel watch *by on Reviewed in the United Kingdom 1 July 2023* I recently came across this particular watch when I watched a review here in the UK about this particular model named the 'Rubik' by wearers in England who have purchased it.Armitron isn't well known in the UK because they market their watches in the USA being an American brand.This watch is truly retro and is made of stainless steel and is of good quality. This watch has an excellent and comfortable bracelet and in my experience is not a hair pincher. The positives of this watch is firstly the price I paid for it which was under £23 which is fantastic especially for a stainless steel retro watch which also comes in a really nice metal tin. Better water resistance too with being rated at 50M. A negative for me is the backlight which only lights a small portion of the screen like any earlier retro watches by other brands including Casio. Overall though this is a really excellent watch to have in your collection. It has a Chinese movement in it so don't know if will stand the test of time.I recommend this watch though for the nostalgia factor alone. It was despatched from Amazon US and only took just over a week to receive it here in England by Royal Mail and the tracking of the watch by Amazon was really excellent. I'm totally blown away.Some people complain about the big digits, but quite honestly i love them as i don't need my glasses to read the display.And the strap - yes its tacky, but its fitting and doesn't pull my hairs.My honest review - it feels like I have 100's of pounds worth of watch on my wrist.
