It mystifies me that a reviewer would make cost the biggest concern on this product- just look at prices by other aftermarket suppliers! These are very high quality items (good materials, stitching, magnets) with perfect fit. I keep them on the back windows of my 2020 Sprinter permanently, and they have not suffered at all from exposure in a year. They are not designed to fit the rear doors trimmed with black plastic, but mine work there anyway because the upper magnets are strong enough. You do lose the absolute blackout feature if you have the lower plastic trim, but it maintains privacy for my bed that is above the bottom of the shade, and very little light leaks out from underneath the 1/4" bottom gap where it overlaps the trim- reading with just a headlamp in the bed I am blacked out from more than six feet away; only a sooper trooper would see that faint leak from a moving unit. In daylight it is a black hole- nothing can be seen inside. And seriously, who complains about well-sewn storage bags? They have many uses beyond keeping the shades in them; for instance, I use my slider shade's bag to store a spare wubbie. I am very happy with this purchase.

These fit perfectly and quickly. They block all sun and they stay up! We also have the MaxxFan cover and it works great, too. Not sure why people are having any issues. Either they ordered the wrong one or they are putting them in backwards. Great product!

Like many RV van conversions, the rear window surround of my Grech Turismo Ion RV built on a Sprinter chassis is plastic. The standard magnetic window covers have no metal to adhere to. So I purchased VanEssentials insulated rear door covers for plastic surrounds. Unfortunately, the box I received from Amazon was missing the magnets and adhesive to attach to the rear windows. A quick email to VanEssentials and the missing parts were here in three days.Saw a video on how to install them for another manufacturer on YouTube and they were installed in less than a half hour. Installing them were extremely easy and they grip perfectly. Not only do they block all light from entering but they help insulate the inside of the Grech also. I had previously purchased the VanEssentials cover for my MaxxAir vent which also was a quick install. Being that I could not find any markings on the covers indicating right or left side, I highly recommend that you try the cover to the window first before installing the metal adhesive so you place the metal strips and adhesive where they belong. The color is a perfect match to the interior of my Grech and only wish that VanEssentials made the same kit to fit the other windows with plastic surrounds in the van. I highly recommend their products.

On Sprinter III somehow, these are better designed and made than the botique-y covers I've purchased in the past.Would always prefer vertical folds to horizontal so that they're less prone to accordion-ing down over time and miles and would accept a larger folded size in exchange.Better value than most but still hard to call a "good value" as low volume van stuff is just expensive.You don't need windows fwiw: these are probably the easiest and one of the least expensive ways to add insulation and sound deadening to where windows would go in a cargo van door.

This shade fits the window contours perfectly, and blocks out 100% of the light.
