Review: these worked for my skin - I have tested numerous acne patches, probably an upwards of 60 brands and counting. I get little hormonal breakouts here and there and at the sight of a tiny red bump I'll put some on. These patches work well and I really like the size. At 16mm, these are bigger than your typical hydrocolloid dots. Skin breakouts come in all different sizes so it only makes sense for these acne patches to come in different shapes and sizes. These do a great job of sticking through the night and when I woke up all the patches were accounted for - none were lost or stuck on my hair. I usually put these on before bed so the hydrocolloid can work its magic when I'm sleeping. It works just as well during the day when you're up and about but it is more convenient during the night because you don't have to go anywhere or see anyone with these patches on your face. I'll sometimes use these during the day when I know I'll be home all day. I did wake up seeing a little bit of the gunk sucked out from my skin onto the patch. To be fair I am currently only experiencing little hormonal breakouts, so there really isn't much to suck out to begin with. I also can't comment on whether or not they'll diminish dark spots because I didn't have any on my skin to test on. Overall I would say the patches work but I did find this set to be a bit pricier than some of the other acne patches since you only get 32 pieces. However, they are larger in size, so it is still reasonable.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Easy to remove from backing sheet!

My skin can be fiesty and my mind can be fiestier, making it tough to avoid picking at blemishes. I love hydrocolloid patches for creating a barrier and for their oil absorption, but they can be difficult to apply smoothly. Most brands I've tried end up getting stuck to finger skin when removing from their backing, which creates raised edges and wastes material. The I Dew Care Dark Spot patches, however, have a great design to the backing the dots are on, making removal prior to applying far less frustrating! If you have tremors or finger mobility issues, the split on the liner makes it much more accessible to remove each dot. I'm still not too sure what the main difference between the dark spot and regular I Dew Care patches are, but I've had good results with these so far. They hold oil and sebum and stay on well overnight, even in a curved area like near the nostril. They're fairly invisible when on, save for the collection of moisture turning areas of the patch white. My latest application was one dot over a stubborn nose pimple that refuses to heal and one over part of a not super raised red spot on the side of my face. I was surprised that the latter location's dot pulled moisture, and it did seem to reduce the redness slightly. The more inflamed acne in my pore-riffic t zone also seems slightly reduced and released a good bit of oil. If you are looking for larger dots that are less frustrating to apply, these are worth a try! They adhere smoothly, didn't cause my sensitive MCAS skin any reactions, and absorb well. For the size, number of patches, ease of use, and effectiveness compared to other brands, there is decent value in these bad boys! As a bonus, the box's design is cute and aesthetically pleasing as well.
