Review: It works, but not quite as advertised - I'm new to this composting thing. I've been doing it for about a year and a half, and I have not had much success. I live in Phoenix, and I think it just gets too hot in the summer. I mean, you got this big black container sitting in the direct sunlight when it's 115 outside for an hour, it's going to cook whatever is inside it. I'm just as likely to get ash as I am to get compost. I didn't get usable soil in 30 days from this product, though I made more progress in 30 days than I had made in the previous 500 days. I give it 5 stars for that. It's quite possible that it was still just too hot in September, as it was much hotter than normal. When it got to 115 last week for a couple of days last week, I just figured I would have to reapply.. I'm trying a different product on the other side. On the older side, it is specifically the grass clippings that have composted nicely. That's what I need, as I need a nitrogen heavy mix. There's a bit of thatch and a lot of leaves left. Nothing else is identifiable.
Review: Highly recommend. - I have been using this accelerator for several years and I get great compost and it is quicker. We usually empty the compost every thirty days and we have lots of fertile humus every month.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: Will this harm the earthworms in my compost?**
A: No, but the heat will.

**Q: My compost tends to be too wet and i'd rather not add h2o. can i just throw a pellet in? my bins are only 19 gallons, can i split the packets in two?**
A: Yes you can split in two. We suggest sprinkling the powder over each pile and mixing up the pile. Since you have enough moisture, this is our recommendation. Water and organic material are the key to activating the bacteria.

**Q: Is this considered organic?**
A: Yes; it’s natural microorganisms

**Q: can i over fertilizers my compost pile**
A: Keep the balance of 50% brown - sticks, leaves, sawdust etc, to 50% green, grass clippings,
garden prunes, Use 5 gallons water for each cubic yard compost. This will ensure a healthy
balanced compost.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Works well for what it is
*by R***N on May 27, 2024*

I have a new metal raised plant bed. I filled it with leaves and sticks, stomped it down, filled it to the brim again. I mixed up these tabs in water and poured them over the leaves, covered with some top soil and let it sit until spring ( approx 3 months ). I planted tomatoes in the bed and they are growing very well. That tells me the leaves composted nicely and are good organic matter for the tomato roots.
