I’m able to use any container and switch between grams, and ounces (and fluid ounces and milliliters) while it’s sitting on the scale. I’m so glad I didn’t go for the more expensive options. It comes with AA batteries so I could just open it and use it right away (some don’t). Also, read carefully - some of the versions in this price point use the harder to find and more expensive batteries.
