So when this showed up I was hoping it would work well and boy does it work well. Taking it out of the box and installing it couldn't be easier. With the magnets on the fan system it's essentially clicks into places and is ready to rock and roll once plugged into a USB port of the xbox. So far it has held up with no problem, I pretty much keep it on 24/7 cause it keeps my xbox cool and it's good background ambient noise for when I pass out. The size is perfect not too big nor too small, quite durable and does what it's supposed to do. Excellent value for money. Review: Great product. Don’t think twice get it thank me later. - A must have if dealing with heat issues. This product is amazing. I originally got the series S because when the consoles came out you couldn’t find an X anywhere and I got tired of waiting so I got the S. Right away I noticed there was not enough space on the Xbox for more than about 3 games so I had to buy a internal hard drive specially made for the Xbox which cost about 150$. But here is where the trouble came in, because of the internal hard drive my device was getting very hot and this summer which has been really hot for the first time the Xbox would shut off from over heating. I was worried it was only a matter of time before the Xbox stopped working if nothing was done so I looked for solutions and came across this beauty here. It had very good reviews and I was sold right away. I went with this over similar knockoff ones because of the automatic feature plus the temperature reader on the front and lastly the colors that tell you if it’s slightly warm green than to blue when warmer as fan speeds up and finally red when it starts working at max speed. My xbox would get extremely hot but with the fan on it barely touches blue for a little and once the fan works faster temps go down immediately. My Xbox before would sound like a huge fan was on in the room but now it is silent with this actual fan connected to it. Which is also another big plus. Really great product would recommend to everyone. Hope this helps. ## Features - 🍃The new upgrade, black design tailored for Xbox Series S 1TB.LED Temperature Display-You can always know the temperature of your Xbox Series S console. There are 3 settings total. On automatic it comes on when the temp hits 35 celcius and turns off when it's back to 34. I game for hours at a time and with this on my Xbox series S is always cool to the touch so I don't believe it will overheat. Mine has been A LOT cooler with this running. I'm very happy with the results I've had with it. **Q: Will this work with the g-story portable gaming monitor attached?** A: Yes is the short answer. I trimmed the fan base that has the 90 degree lip with a mini bandsaw and smoothed it with sandpaper. The fan has magnets and dimples that keep the fan in place. Works great! **Q: Is this not loud?** A: No. It's not bad on low. It's gets a little louder on medium and high but I haven't had it go that high yet. **Q: Will this work on xbox 1** A: It runs off the USB port don't know if it works for Xbox 1 ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Perfect addon to my xbox *by C***B on December 14, 2024* I had the usual problem with my xbox of it getting crazy hot when playing optimized games on it. It fits perfectly and installation was easy. At first the fan only cooled the console to 95F which I thought was a bit high. After reading the specs I realized it has multiple speeds and a manual mode. It would be really nice if it had two buttons for up/down so you can adjust the speed easier, the abbreviated digital readout leaves much to be desired. The additional USB slots are a plus, not sure what I’d use them for. I definitely think it’s worth the money and I’m happy with the purchase. ## Frequently Bought Together - G-STORY Cooling Fan for Xbox Series S with Automatic Fan Speed Adjustable by Temperature, LED Display, High Performance Cooling, Low Noise, 3 Speed 1500/1750/2000RPM (140MM) with RGB LED (White) - JZW-Shop 4 Ports USB Hub 2.0 for Xbox Series S, High Speed USB Hub Splitter Expansion Adapter Compatible with Xbox Series S Console - NexiGo Vertical Stand with Cooling Fans for Xbox Series S Console, 3 Levels Adjustable Fans Rotate Speed with Type-C Power Input, USB Charging and Data Transmission Ports, White --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.gr/products/448184279-g-story-cooling-fan-for-xbox-series-s-auto-3](https://www.desertcart.gr/products/448184279-g-story-cooling-fan-for-xbox-series-s-auto-3) --- *Product available on Desertcart Greece* *Store origin: GR* *Last updated: 2026-10-24*
