When I first saw it, I stared at it a long time because I wasn't sure whether it was leather or not. It bends and creases like leather, but there were certain aspects of the bag that made me unsure. That's when I knew that I'd found a great looking PU leather purse that didn't look cheap or tacky. While I'm not a fan of large nameplates all over handbags and such, the hardware is substantial and doesn't cheapen the bag at all. Actually, it adds to the distressed character of the purse.I love the size. It's large enough to accommodate everything you may want, yet it's not overbearing. There are four brass tone feet on the bottom so one doesn't have to worry about the the wearing away of fabric. The stitching on the purse is done very well. The front pocket adds character. The straps are long enough to wear as an shoulder bag or a tote style bag. My favorite detail is zipper close. There are straps attached to the zipper, concealing the zipper when the bag is closed. The zipper pulls are concealed by blue leather looking rosette-type pulls. It's really cute.
