This is such a good looking kettle from the brand of Haden which I have used across the years for small kitchen appliances because they are always very reliable and well thought through and manufactured. My kettles always need to be kitchen work horses and although I prefer substance over style, this has both. This kettle is no exception to my likes. At 3000w it boils very quickly and looks stylish, being a cool mint green in colour with faux wood trim. It has the additional feature of varying temperature controls and has a capacity of 1.7 litres making it a good buy for a family or someone who likes lots of tea and coffee or has a reason for needing to heat lots of water. It is also a sensible and kind touch to have included a second replacement filter, as these tend to 'fur' up quite quickly and are relatively flimsy, so this was appreciated very much. Very pleased with my buy.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Fast to boil and easy to use, but don't burn yourself!

Had this kettle for a few months now and still very pleased with it. I use it several times a day and it still works perfectly. Easy to clean as well. It's fast to boil water and the temperature control is very easy to use, I like how you can select the desired temperature in increments of 5 degrees Celsius. The only thing you should be very cautious about is the lid. Most electric water kettles have a button you push so the lid opens, but this kettle doesn't it which means you need to take the lid off when you need to refill it. This isn't a problem when the kettle has cooled off since the last usage, but is problematic when you need to boil it in succession. Because it's a metal lid and fitted quite tight on it, you need to use a cloth when you want to take it off when it's hot because else you'll burn your hands! The kettle itself also doesn't seem to have double insulation like most electric water kettles so make sure you grab the kettle by the handle after boiling and not by the body as that gets hot too. So, be mindful when you use it and be careful if you have kids who could accidentally hurt themselves. Otherwise, it's brilliant, especially for the price!
