A certain amount of hours? Months? Years?** A: I have had it in my car since November. It turns on as soon as I start the car and I never unplug it. It just recently started having spots that don’t light anymore so I would say months. I would assume if you unplug it and only use it when it’s dark it would very likely last longer. **Q: does it go allow back like the 3 seats back** A: It’s pretty long, but you can’t cut it, my opinion is you’d have to use a lot of it just to get there **Q: How are they attached tp stay in place?** A: It mostly stays in place with the thin plastic strip attached to it that slides into the crack of dash joints.
