When sanding over numerous pine knots in several grits, there is zero resin loading on the disc. The durability of these discs and the grit retention is insanely good, regular discs can't even begin to compare. What's crazy is that these net discs are similar in price to average, and below average, regular AO discs. You can't lose. It doesn't occur often but, in this instance, performance exceeds cost. Good job 3M. I have soft density interface pads on all my H&L sanders. Adding that sponge cushion buffer to your backing pad makes the work so much easier and they add life to the primary pad. Sanding contours or rolling edges is so much smoother. With these discs on buffer pads, you can do anything and do it well.
