I ordered one and it would not retract at all. I called the manufacturer directly and they shipped me a new one immediately. I was told. "throw the original one out" I installed the second one. and though I like the look of the unit , was easy to install , it does not retract fully no matter how many attempts I make.. it's like wrestling with an alligator. I purchased this sick and tired of the roll up type hose reels... but this does not do it properly. Don't waste your time or money... buy a traditional hose and live with the hand crank type hose reel. GartenKraft Retractable needs to go back to the drawing table... the interior spring mechanism and spring lock is faulty and over 75% of the time does not fully retract. ### ⭐ Does not wind back up *by R***E on Reviewed in the United States on September 14, 2018* I'm very disappointed in this product. It looks great. However, more than half the time, the hose will not wind up all the way. The last 6-8 feet never seem to be able to wind up inside the unit. We end up wrapping the hose around the whole box, which defeats the purpose of the retractable hose.
