The way your hand rests on it is so comfortable. All the buttons work very well, and the mouse moves very easily as well. There is no need to go out and buy a 60-80 dollar mouse when you can buy a mouse from the company. ### ⭐ I'm disappointed *by M***] on March 29, 2017* This entire review has been somewhat of a headache and frustration. And I am not entirely sure where to start, so I will start from the beginning on impressions. (Keep reading though, there is a reason for my rating I think some would like to know.)This is a well-designed mouse with a combination of quality to cheap that lands it in the middle for personal satisfaction. It is very comfortable to palm, and a great size, featuring subtle wings and grooves that fit the hand (my hand at least) well. The design is appealing, and very close to the G500’s or G600’s design style. It has a comfortable weight that I appreciate. It isn’t an overly light weight mouse.Back and forward buttons have great placement. They feel much better than most forward and back buttons on budget mice. They don’t feel soft or mushy, and there is a satisfying mechanical click and response. The switches are rated at 20 million clicks, but I find this hard to believe as this would mean quality Omron switches, and since there are many mislabeling features I have discovered I will assume this $12 mouse does not feature high rated switches. I can say they are middle ground comfortable in depression to actuation, a satisfying click, and responsive.Hopefully what I write about will be examined and fixed in the listing, because the good pretty much ends in there (with what is stated above).So here is my scrutinis examination research, take it or leave it. First we start with the obvious:In the listing at the time of my purchase we see the title: It states “3800 DPI Optical Sensor” the only part of this that is true is ‘Optical Sensor.’ Scroll down a bit and we see under bullet point two “3800DPI laser sensor” this is a fallacy in full. Agilent did pioneer a hybrid 'optical, laser guided tracking' method back in 2005, but the 5050 was not one of them. The ADNS-6030 was the first noted that year at Computex, and we're talking about 800 DPI.Laser sensors and optical sensors are two different breeds of mice imaging sensors. The sensor in the mouse is an optical (and an antiquated obsolete sensor not capable of the stated DPI).The CW90 utilizes an old (early 2000’s) Agilent 5050 sensor, Agilent sold their designs to Avago around 2005, and later Pixart acquired rights to Avago designs around 2009. The sensor remained in production for a while and support still exists for it but it is an obsolete office mouse sensor with a capable DPI of ‘1375.’I tested this several times. Below are my results.Red:CW90 listed by AOSO states 800DPITesting Results: 550 AverageGreen:CW90 listed by AOSO states 1500DPI (already over the sensors capabilities)Testing Results: 1015 AverageBlue:CW90 listed by AOSO states 2500DPITesting Results: 1240 AverageViolet:CW90 listed by AOSO states 3800DPITesting Results: Inconsistent between 1237-1372 (Exactly where an ADNS/Agilent 5050 would be at the high end)Let us move to polling rate, which is also incorrect. I will state the lie could be worse, the claim is that the mouse is pre-polled to 1000, for 1ms latency. The truth, verified by mouse rate checker, is that it is actually polled to 500. I confirmed this multiple times. It was traced back several times between 425-485 polling.I don’t really know if I trust Combaterwing products after this. And here is the lure, and the truth. The mouse feels nice, and even looks nice. For no frills and $12 its arguably good, and a better buy than most cheap import mice, but the fact that everything listed is aimed to confuse the consumer and mislead them is a huge frustration for me. Most people probably wouldn’t investigate the product like I have, and most consumers (for $12) won’t care.A dishonest company, is a disloyal to its consumers company. If I revisit Combaterwing products for future reviews I hope to find something better, and more honest.
