This book is 100% for breastfeeding, it could possibly make a mother feel guilty for not breast feeding or being unable to in the past. The way I understood his point is that it should be a priority to nurse and there really is no reason or very rare circumstances when it truly isn't able to work out. It is the most natural and beautiful thing you can share with your child. I would never take back the time and connection my daughter and I share from breastfeeding. I think women have lost the confidence and the need to want to breastfeed. If you have any doubts I recommend this book ten fold!
