I pump directly into these bags with that adapter. **Q: Can these bags be placed in the freezer?** A: You can place these in the freezer BUT they do not lie flat. This was a problem for us because we store them in 1 gallon ziplock bags. Their shape meant we could only put in a few at a time. We then tried Nuk bags. They lie flat and we can fit many more in the gallon ziplock bags. You can see the Nuk bags here: https://amzn.to/2VQ6eED . However, the Medela bags are good. The frozen wedge shape just does not work for us. **Q: How do i warm breast milk stored and frozen in these bags?** A: I used to either let it thaw in the fridge or run the bag under hot water to thaw it/warm it. If it's not frozen, you can put the milk in a bottle and then a bottle warmer to warm it up. **Q: Are these authentic medela storage bags?** A: I’m pretty sure they are.
