I find your products are an indispensable asset in doing my job easier and quicker and with less repetitive stress. If you work on a CAD system, do yourself a big favour and get one of these products." Dana Fiorucci Senior Design Engineer Why use a SpaceNavigator 3D mouse? The key advantage of a SpaceNavigator over a mouse and keyboard is the ease of performing intricate adjustments to camera views and models without repeatedly stopping to change direction, zoom, or rotate. With a SpaceNavigator you can do all three at once while simultaneously using the mouse to access commands and tools. Heavy for precision. A heavy (479 grams) brushed stainless steel base keeps the SpaceNavigator stationary and provides a stable platform for the spring-mounted pressure sensitive controller cap. Convenience. Universal compatibility: Works with all your favorite 3D applications--on Windows, Mac, or Linux. Affordable precision: Step up to advanced 3D technology--at a price that’s comparable with many 2D mice. Space saving: The small footprint of SpaceNavigator 3D mouse conserves space. Your work area remains uncluttered, even if you’re also using a conventional mouse. ## Features - Advanced 6 degrees-of-freedom optical sensor - Simultaneously pan, zoom and rotate 3D models - 2 programmable function keys - SpaceNavigator SE model includes commercial use license and full technical support - Ideal for 3D designers, CAD engineers, architects ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B000LB7G00 | | Batteries | 1 Lithium Ion batteries required. | | Best Sellers Rank | #5,159 in Computer Mice | | Customer Reviews | 4.5 4.5 out of 5 stars (1,265) | | Date First Available | November 28, 2006 | | Department | Computers | | Item Weight | 1.06 pounds | | Item model number | 3DX-700028 | | Language | English, English, English, English | | Manufacturer | 3Dconnexion | | Product Dimensions | 3 x 3 x 2 inches | ## Images ![3DX-700028 SpaceNavigator 3D Mouse - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71B8AHaw3ML.jpg) ## Questions & Answers **Q: Is it a mouse replacement?** A: No, not at all. It is used in conjunction with a mouse, in the opposite hand. It replaces the mouse and keyboard combinations often used for navigation in 3D CAD programs, but does not replace the mouse itself. **Q: Does it work with computer games? (This is a Christmas present.) What is the return policy if they do not like it?** A: If you looked on the official website ( http://www.3dconnexion.com/products/spacenavigator.html ), you would have found that the device is currently supported by two games (Multiwinia and Second Life), not the strongest of games in the year 2013. Unless your child is likely to go into product designing or wishes to create his own computer games, I would not recommend this as his/her Christmas present. **Q: Is the latest version made in USA now?** A: still made in china **Q: Has anyone had issues using this in a Linux environment? I have a Red Hat Enterprise workstation that I'd like to use this one. Driver OK?** A: I used it in Linux Mint 15 and could not set the controls properly in one of the cadd programs. I think it was FreeCadd. All the functions worked, but were reversed from what they should be. ## Frequently Bought Together - 3Dconnexion 3DX-700028 SpaceNavigator 3D Mouse - SAMSUNG Galaxy Buds Fan Edition(FE) SM-R400, Active Noise-Cancelling, Wireless Bluetooth v5.2 Earbuds, Android 8.0 and Up - (Graphite) - Type C Charger, 2-Pack 25W Type C Super Fast Charging Block with 6ft USB C Charger Cable Compatible with Galaxy S23 Ultra/S23+/S22/S21/S20 --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.gr/products/437242-3dx-700028-spacenavigator-3d-mouse](https://www.desertcart.gr/products/437242-3dx-700028-spacenavigator-3d-mouse) --- *Product available on Desertcart Greece* *Store origin: GR* *Last updated: 2026-10-19*
