No help! *by A***A on Reviewed in the United States on July 22, 2019* First off I followed the instructions and in the video it states you can use a 1 by 6 or a 1 by 8 as your ledger board. Since I'm installing in a 8ft closet opening with their bypass system, I had to use a ledger board but come to find out. They didn't know much about the product that they sell and using a 1 by 6 or a 1 by 8 is impossible since the distance is over 8 in length from the top to the bottom bolt. To give this advice and after 20 back and forth emails I still have not received a solid answer as to what to do. This was purchased based upon the reviews and the help that people have received from the company but unfortunately if you purchase their bypass system and use a ledger be prepared. Looks like I am the first one to figure this flaw out. I would like to return but now I am outside the window because of all these back and forth emails with the company. If you look at my pictures you will notice that there is two 1x6 is that had to be used as Ledger's. Notice the bottom bracket is at the bottom of the first 1x6 and the bracket for 2nd rail bolts that extend Way Beyond though first 1x6 and thus requiring a second 1x6 ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Wife is super happy with the final result *by B***N on Reviewed in the United States on July 19, 2018* The 8ft bypass kit is really well made, and ended up working out really well for my 8ft opening. If you're handy and can build your own doors, you'll save a bit of money over a prebuilt and get exactly what you want in the end. Wife is super happy with the final result.The seller (Wes) was super helpful and responsive when my package arrived damaged and missing parts. He sent me everything I needed right away. Then almost 2 months later when I finally got around to installing the hardware, I snapped one of the bolts while torquing it down. Wes again came through and sent me a replacement. Both times I got great support when I needed it, so I will be buying from this seller again. The hardware looks fantastic too! The only thing is I wish the gap between the doors was a little less. I think that's my issue though and I should've made the doors thicker. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great Product *by L***S on Reviewed in the United States on July 2, 2019* No problems installing, worked great with my custom built barn doors to separate the master bedroom to the master bath. When selling the home everyone commented on the transition. I think this product helped set it off.
