A: Yes, i tried, it's sturdy. About 2.7 lbs

**Q: Is this specific to vinyl planks or will this work for tongue and groove engineered wood flooring?**
A: As a licensed floor covering installer of 51 years I can say it works GREAT for tongue and groove engineered wood flooring! Better than with vinyl plank. I do a lot of both. Some vinyl plank has soft edges an some works ok. Any click wood (Pergo,) or tongue and groove engineered wood flooring it works perfect.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Good Set of Flooring Tools

Have used these to install a little over 1000 square feet of LVP. It has held up very well. The tapping block has a few divots from where I ran it over a raised nail head by accident but aside from that, it’s still in good shape and can use it again when I decide to put the flooring in my basement. I found that it has a good weight to it as well which helps to ensure the planks are securely locked in. The pull bar is nice and sturdy too. I did add a couple more felt pads just to ensure it was not touching my new flooring but that was my personal choice. I read the different reviews before purchasing and was a little concerned but I’m glad I purchased this and would recommend it.
