## Description

Binding ProcedureThe Micro receiver comes with officially major release V3.0.0 protocol and has not been set for a Binding Phrase. So please make sure the TX module works on officially major release V3.0.0 protocol and no Binding Phrase has been set beforehand. Enter binding mode by plugging in and unplugging the Micro receiver three times; Make sure the LED is on double flashing, this indicates the Micro receiver is in bind mode;Make sure the TX module or radio transmitter also enters the binding mode, which sends out a binding pulse; When the LED light is solid, it indicates that the devices are successfully bound. Note: once the devices have been successfully bound, the receiver will store the binding information. There would be no need for re-bind on the later use as the devices would be connected automatically. Note: If you reflash the firmware of the Micro receiver with your own Binding Phrase, please make sure the TX module has the same Binding Phrase to perform an auto bind. Review: Worked right out of the box - As the title says, the Micro Receiver worked right out of the box without any issues. As many of you have noticed, there is no Micro Receiver Manual available on the BetaFPV website. However, not to fear, the Micro Receiver works just like the Nano serial output Receiver. To get it to bind to your BetaFPV gamepad radio, turn on the radio, plugin the Receiver power to 5 vdc three times and the blue LED will start double blinking. Then using a paper clip, push the bind switch on the radio and you should see he blue LED go solid blue indicating that the Micro Receiver has bound to your gamepad radio. No, I don't use a pass phrase as there is no one within 10 miles of me using BetaFPV hardware. After getting the Nano Receiver to bind to my gamepad radio, I decided to test the Micro Receiver's WIFI functionality. So I turned the gamepad radio off and repowered the Nano Receiver so it would go into the binding mode which it did, however after about a minute the blue LED began to flash quickly indicating that the Nano Receiver was in the WIFI mode. Using my trusty laptop I connected to the expresslrs hotspot which brought up the hotspot website. Incase you are wondering, the BetaFPV firmware on the Micro Receiver is Expresslrs version 2.0.0 which is quite on the old side. My BetaFPV LiteRadio 3 has Expresslrs version 2.0.1. Additionally my BetaFVP Nano serial receiver had Expresslrs version "unknown" so I built and flashed it with version 2.0.1 without a pass phrase and it had no problem binding to my gamepad radio. You are now probably wondering what the little black button on the Micro Receiver is for? That is the same as the teeny weeny little button on the Nano serial Receiver which is used to put the Micro Receiver in the programming mode using either the FC passthrough or a USB/UART for communication with the Receiver just like with the Nano Receiver. And no, I don't fly Quads with my BetaFPV gamepad radio and receiver. I work with the Donkey Car Crew and someone was looking for a gamepad with longer range than BT and this is it. Update: Contrary to what BetaFPV and other Users have claimed, the Micro Receiver will run on 3.3 vdc. The receiver has a 3.3 vdc regulator that converts the 4-6 vdc ESC input to 3.3 vdc for use by the onboard ESP8285 MCU/WIFI IC. If 3.3 vdc is applied to the receiver, the 3.3. vdc regulator just passes the 3.3 vdc along to the ICs on the board. The fact that the ESP8285 is a 3.3 vdc IC means that the servo PWM outputs are 3.3 vdc and not the expected 5 - 6 vdc. I now have two of the Micro Receivers and both worked right out of the box.
Review: There some great things about this. Open source. Might have issue take my tips - So my receiver came with a 2xxxx my radio came with 2xxxxx. Didn't match exactly. Few ch didn't work after binding. But once I got both device Sync with same version of Elrs nice. I was going to contact the seller. Refund or tips. But I went for Discord. Anyway's. I had a problem. I couldn't flash it it said Not enough space. I fixed it. We have to use program called ExpressLRS Confurator. Instead inputting Betafpv 2.4 Ghz as for device catagory and Device Betafpv 2400 TX Micro. Info: That caused me a Not enough space. Use instead Device Catagory DIY 2.4 GHZ Device DIY 2400 RX PWMP and Boom you got 3.0 on that receiver. :) Enjoy. I will buy much more of this. Looking forward higher CH :) 11/24/22 Update: Happy Thank Giving. Well I did my first maiden on this receiver on a new plane. Then two more. Everything went out smooth. I was scared lol. I maiden on a brand new Sky Surfer. This is the first time I flew with Elrs. I have nobody to take pic or video of me flying. But I am happy. 3/28/22 Update: Still working well no issue. I hope they can release with more channel to use in helicopter and other planes that need more channel. But this is a best buy. Bought only two. But that two work as well. :) Still on 3.0 firmware which unluck the ch 5. :)

## Features

- 【PWM Output】BETAFPV ELRS Micro receiver is the first ELRS receiver with PWM output on BETAFPV. Supports 5 channels PWM outputs. It also supports flash CRSF output firmware, in this case CH2 corresponds to TX and CH3 corresponds to RX
- 【Application】ELRS micro receiver adapts for multiple types of models like fixed-wing, helicopters, RC cars, boats and etc.
- 【Failsafe Function】When the connection or signal is lost between the radio transmitter and receiver, the failsafe function will adjust all the channels to the failsafe values set by the users, maximum keep safety and prevent from flying away. It's necessary to set up failsafe values properly if you are not using a flight controller, such as RC fixed-wing
- 【Weight&Size】Weighing about 4.5g with an antenna and with the sizes of 19mm*32mm*9mm (without antenna). It means that an FPV drone can not afford to carry.
- 【Plug &Play】With the plug-and-play connect ports, micro receiver is very easy to use and does not need to solder

## Questions & Answers

**Q: How to enter WiFi mode when it’s flashed with binding phrase? Waiting does not work just stays slow flashing blue**
A: don't know how long you waited, but the default auto wifi on in interval is usually either 20 or 60 seconds, I'm assuming you did not have your transmitter powered up, but just in case, make sure that is powered off both before and during any attempts to connect to the receiver via wifi. hope this helps

**Q: Will this work with spektrum dx5 pro?**
A: It doesn't work with Spektrum (DSMX or DSMR) transmitters. It requires an Express LRS transmitter or an Express LRS external module

**Q: How I contact seller. Want a request. Will benefit each other.**
A: Hello dear customer,
Thanks for your support.
You can contact us on amazon or you can contact our support WhatsApp:+8617150315136.

**Q: I have a few of these rx and 3 of them do not connect to my wifi. i believe the wifi transmitters are not working on them. is there a fix for this?**
A: Try looking up this video on youtube "ExpressLRS definitive getting started guide" the one by Joshua Bardwell. hope this helps

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great for others, not for me!
*by D***P on May 23, 2024*

I’m giving this receiver four stars because I can’t tell if it’s a receiver issue, a radio issue or a me issue. But I have a difficult time getting these to bind with my radio master boxer. Other people have a wonderful experience with these, so I have to believe they are great receiver. And I’m told her great for long long distances, but I just haven’t been able to get them to bind.
