I expect it to be a precision tool considering the cost but straight out of the box I can see that it's not. The most glaring problem is that the slot depths are uneven. The spacing between the segments is fine but I would expect that the depth of each slot be consistent across the line. Also, It's a little difficult to line up both sides when tightening the Allen head bolts because there is too much play. The Allen wrench included with the kit barely fits the bolt heads making it more difficult to extract the wrench than it should be. Some minor design changes would make this a great tool but I can't recommend it for the cost. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great tool and a real timesaver! *by D***N on April 26, 2022* I got my unit not long before it became available on Amazon. This is one of those tools that you look at and think, "why didn't somebody invent this before?" At first I thought it was a bit pricey but by the time I made my second castellated bezel, I realized it was already saving me lots of time. And time definitely = $$$. I always get consistent results. And it doesn't take much effort.The other thing I'd say is to take the 5 minutes to read the instruction booklet. First time around I didn't (hey, I'm a guy, we don't need no stinking' instructions!). Here are the tips I found most useful:* Make sure you have the right size saw blades, lube 'em up, and run it through the tool before you use it the first time. That little bit of break in made a real difference.*I thought the usage might be limited to just 2mm and 3mm spacing, but the book says you can skip every other one and achieve 4mm and 6mm spacing. I guess you could also do 8mm and 9mm if really needed.*The tool and the box have a website address. It was worth a look to see some of the videos and photos.To paraphrase Carly Rae Jepsen, I really, really, really like it.
