I have food allergies and when exposed to an offending substance my lips and the corners of my mouth crack and hurt so much it affects every moment of my life until it heals. This product soothes and protects with clean and simple ingredients. I typically buy the tube form and it’s great for on-the-go but this little (emphasis on little) pot contains almost twice the amount of product for the same price. I included a tube of the product in the pix for scale. Sticking a finger in the pot isn’t just unsanitary but is wasteful. See my pix for my solution. I have various sizes of spatulas that I use for cosmetics that I also buy on Amazon. The purple one is the smallest size I have and perfect for picking up the tiniest dab of the Cortibalm. The amount I have on the spatula in the pix is enough to coat my lips and the corners of my mouth. You don’t need to apply this product liberally like a standard chapstick for it to work. Now, if they would add some lidocaine to this formula it would be a perfect. I’m no chemist so perhaps that’s not safe but a gal in agony can hope.
