You need a Flex ATX power supply. Be aware -- the power supply mounts on the opposite side of where most mainboard 20/24 pin and 4/8 pin 12v connectors are, so you'll need to make sure you pick a power supply with long cables, or purchase an extension kit (like I did) at the same time. **Q: Is there a fan to cool the drive bays? Or room to mount one to blow air across them? I’m concerned the backplane will be in the way.** A: Flow isn't going to be a problem because of the back plate. It mostly depends how thick your drives are. I can feel airflow when the machine is on. **Q: Does te backplane support SAS?** A: the backplane does accept sas drives but the connectors on the rear of the backplane are sata so you need a sas to sata breakout cable for your raid card. **Q: Why is there IDE connector in the case?** A: The IDE is to supply the power to the SATA board.
