American Water Solutions Water Softener Gravel is a 15-pound bag of premium garnet gravel designed for optimal filtration in salt-based and salt-free water softeners and conditioners. Sized for 9" diameter filter tanks, this heavy-duty media enhances backwashing efficiency and supports water systems up to 1.5 cubic feet, ensuring cleaner, softer water with professional-grade reliability.

## Description

The Granular size filter media comes in a 15 pound bag and can be used with any 1 or 1.5 cubic foot system. Two bags will work for any size system greater than 12" in diameter tank.

Review: Does what it should - Item arrive perfect. It did require a little bit of rinsing before using.
Review: Super small rocks - These pebbles were a we-bit smaller than the gravel in my tank, but I think that’s a good thing. I used it to cover the intake tube on the bottom of my chloramine tank, they hold activated carbon(GAC) which has some VERY fine particulate cabin. It’s down stream from the softener tank, these tanks scrub the chlorine from the system after the water leaves the tank that the chlorine is mixed in (after being softened.) I have a dual tank system so this was a trial run to see if I want to rebed the other chloramine tank and also my softer tanks Would recomend
