They provide excellent brightness and warmth at 3000K (the Goldilocks temperature in the kitchen) and allow me to put more heads into the tracks due to lower wattage per fixture. Really good lighting on all the work surfaces now. These aren't perfect. They flicker a bit at low dimming levels using Lutron dimmers. They are slightly larger ("taller") than the halogen bi-pin bulbs they replace. However, the first batch has been in operation for almost four years with no replacements and no failures. I'll happily sacrifice some flicker at very low light for the cost of running their halogen peers. A good bulb by Bioluz and a worthwhile investment in energy savings and quality light!
