The suction cup holds good enough but the base wiggles on it, causing the camera to bounce around. A shame really because it looked like a nice piece especially for the price. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ The best single suction cup mount for car video *by J***S on Reviewed in the United States on September 26, 2015* This is the absolute best single suction cup mount I've been able to find. It's well-built, and rigid.To rotate the mount, you probably need to remove the thumb-screw and pry off the two pieces that hold the ball-stud. That took me a minute to figure out. You don't have to pop them off, but at least it doesn't feel like you're going to break it or wear it out when you do.This unit goes great with RetiCAM's other product, the Smartphone Tripod Mount. Put the two together, and you won't find a more solid single-cup windshield mount for your smartphone. (See attached photo.) To get any more stable, you'll need to go for a triple suction-cup mount.The swivel ball is held securely with the thumbscrew.
