I put this brush in a small travel bag so that whenever I'm out of town (which is often) I can still spray my hair with water and brush it back into a twisty bun. I use a wide comb first, then this, then satin scrunchies and bonnet. The brush detangles my hair easily and makes it look smooth and shiny, with uniform, sculpted waves. This brush is compact while still being easy to grip while dragging through stubborn coils. It's easy to clean - I just give my hair a few brushes every other time I shampoo - not to mention it feels great on my scalp. I love it. At this point I cannot travel without it.
