I am loving my fruit infused water. The pitcher is excellent quality and just the right size. I was worried it would be way too big for the top shelf in my standard, non-fancy refrigerator -but it was fine. I've dropped it once and it didn't break/crack in anyway. It also has a very sleek looking design and shape. Its also very easy to clean. I do handle the infuser rod and top piece with care when changing the fruit. It does seem like it could break if you were too rough with it. Common sense should tell you when you've twisted the infuser rod just enough to lock into place on the top cap. I'm happy I paid the few extra bucks for a nice quality pitcher. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ It works and looks great on the table. *by R***D on September 17, 2014* My wife and daughter wanted this pitcher. I suggested they use the sun tea jar we already have. But they just had to have it so I got it for them.It's food grade plastic which means it requires special care. There are a number of usage "don'ts" and maintenance necessities that to me are not worth the effort required to use the infusion pitcher. You can also drop fruit and citrus chunks into a big glass jar with the same result and it's much easier to clean. But...The infusion pitcher is a nice looking and functional no doubt, especially when there is fruit or citrus in the core. But for me it's more of a visual aesthetic and serving function and in that regard it is very nice. It does work and it really looks great on the table. And it makes the women in my life happy. So for that reason it's worth every penny and every effort to use it. ### ⭐ Returning. On the hunt for a new one. *by K***S on June 16, 2015* I was sceptical on this not being glass but it is well made and lighter weight. We ar ereally enjoying it. Great purchase.Update: I gave this a 5 originally with the above comments. But after about the 5th use I am changing to a 1 and am returning. We washed by hand every time. So I washed it and refilled with new fruit, put in the fridge, my husband and I had a glass about 2 hours later. Everythign fine. Another hour later and I came back to pour another glass and it just dumped everywhere. Turns out the whole thing split apart while in the fridge. There are numerous splits down the length and the top just breaks off in pieces. I will add a photo if I can remember. I went in to request a refund and they want it returned. LOL. okay-sure. Really sad because I really liked this.It's been really hot here lately.
