I'm always needing a winch around my farm to pull trucks, tractors, etc. out of the mud, drag logs, load cars onto my trailer, and so forth. The old winch I had picked up used about 20 years ago finally gave up so I was looking for a replacement that didn't cost a fortune. I was looking at the 12,000# winch at Harbor Freight but found this winch with a discount code that made it MUCH less expensive than even the HF winch so I decided to give it a try. I mounted it in a receiver hitch mount so I can swap it from vehicle to vehicle as needed plus I have a receiver tube welded on the front of my trailer so I can put the winch in it to load cars onto the trailer. Setup was pretty simple, just connect the wires to the relay box and mount the relay box to the winch frame.The first time I used it was to load a 1988 F350 Dually Diesel that had been sitting so long the front wheels were seized. That meant that not only was I having to pull the truck up onto the trailer, with the front wheels seized it was dead weight that I was having to drag. I was able to winch it onto the trailer with now problems at all! Since then I have used this winch several times and it continues to impress.I definitely feel like this winch was money well spent and have recommended it to several of my friends.

So much value - more kit than just winch. You get the winch, synthetic cable, wired remote and wireless remote, AND a nice cover! The winch works as advertised and the price is incredible. I would still prefer a US-made Warn or a Ramsey, but if you are forced to buy a Chinese-made winch (basically ALL others), this is a good choice for your trail rig.Edit: After a great test - Pulled a 1-ton Dodge Cummins 4x4 pulling another Cherokee loaded on a 27-foot gooseneck trailer out of deep mixed mud and snow. Right at the max rating and the winch did not even heat up on a full line pull. Very impressive.

This unit was a bit difficult to install with limited directions. Got it in an working and works great. Have had to use it a few times and it has gotten me out of some sticky situations. No issues with it working and doing what it is supposed too.I did however crack the control box and needed it replaced. No fixing it. I reached out to inquire about how to get a new control box and to my amazement they had me send pictures and the last email from them was they are getting me out a new control box.Thank you and I will definitely purchase through you again. Got it and installed it. Light, shorter body, complete hard ware. very simple to install. I tested it to see if turn on and off and if the rope spools in and out. Haven't really used it yet, but will do soon and will update. The Rope had small fray for some reason!! It the frame had a ding two, so could've been a return or God knows from what....Either way dings are dings and I wish it was me who did that but oh well!! The Rope was my issue!! So contacted them , sent a few pix, and in about 3/4 days They sent me a knew rope, I was impressed by the customer service and I appreciate someone who stands behind their product. I will update when I put it to the test soon.

Got it for pulling cars onto my trailer, works good

This winch is great looking, but that's about where the goodness ends. I waited too long to install it...the return window expired. When I finally got it installed, it would only spool out... but wouldn't pull in. This left me with a big wad if cable hanging out, and I had to coil it up and ty-wrap it off to my grill guard so that I could drive. It didn't matter whether the cordless or corded remote was used. I tested electrical functionalty for quite a while., I was finally able to get the "spool in" function to work, but only by jumpering across the relay. Additionally, retract only works when the engagement handle is in the "Disengaged" position. This thing is a disaster.

I picked this up for my Toyota FJ Cruiser. The orange color caught my eye first, after looking into the features I was sold. $300 for a 13,000 pound winch is a great deal. It also comes with a cover, remote control, mounting bolts and synthetic rope line. I need to purchase a mounting plate for my application but everything else was included in the package. I am very pleased with this winch. I've owned Warn and Ramsey winches in the past and if I required continuous use I would probably stick with them. As it stands, I only need a winch on rare occasions. This one does the job. I see several brand names that I suspect are the same product, just rebranded. This one was the best deal by far, do not overpay.

Need a new solenoid for winch. Main cord to power was not even close to reaching the battery.

Picked up this winch after my $2000 warn winch died. I gotta say for the price I'm very impressed with the quality. I've only used it for one weekend of mud bogging so far but it was used a good 15 times and worked flawlessly. Pulled some heavy full-size rigs no problem at all. Install was straight forward. I did a YouTube video of the install. Look up Todaysempire if you want to have a look. All in all I am happy with the purchase and would recommend the winch.

I just received this winch and it is missing the wireless remote. I dont want to return it, I just want the remote sent to me.
